Animal fights have been around for centuries. Throughout history, various cultures have engaged in animal fights as a form of entertainment, such as jousting between two animals for the admiration of the crowd. Although animal fights are now primarily a professional sport, there is still a historical context for the animal vs. animal fight.
For example, in some parts of Latin America, dogs and chickens have been known to fight in grounds specifically built for spectators.
